Havana Dressage Academy
Havana Dressage Academy was the first IEA Dressage Team in the state of Florida! Our first year we had both an Upper and a Futures team! This year is our second year and we are thrilled to welcome Adults!!

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association is a program geared towards riders in grades 4-12. Homeschooled riders are eligible for the IEA program. Teams will attend shows hosted by other teams. Horses and tack are provided and horses are assigned through a draw system. Riders will have a short warm up period to get to know their horses before entering the show ring. Point Riders will be chosen to have their points tallied for Team Awards at the end of the show. Post season shows include Zones and Nationals!

Havana Dressage Academy meets monthly for unmounted, mounted or team building activities. Meetings are announced via email. The HDA hand book can be found here. All the information you should need is contained in the handbook but if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!!
Riders do NOT have to ride at Iron Star in order to be on the team. As long as riders are taking weekly dressage lessons and their instructors are willing to share the riders progress through out the season, that is fine!
